Representation of People Act, 1950 and Representation of People Act, 1951 are the general enactments which regulates the elections in India.
Article 136 of the Constitution of India confers an extraordinary jurisdiction upon the Hon’ble Supreme Court to grant special leave to appeal against any judgment, order, decision, determination etc from any Court or Tribunal in any cause or a matter except the matters relating to Armed Forces.
