in India, is governed by Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (amended up to date) ( “IBC”). IBC prescribes a consolidated framework for governing Insolvency and Bankruptcy Proceedings for Companies, Partnerships, and Proprietors. 

Article 136 of the Constitution of India confers an extraordinary jurisdiction upon the Hon’ble Supreme Court to grant special leave to appeal against any judgment, order, decision, determination etc from any Court or Tribunal in any cause or a matter except the matters relating to Armed Forces.
